Former Patriots cornerback Jack Jones made no secret of his feelings for New England football fans in a series of posts to X over the weekend.
The sharp comment appears to have first been sparked by a video the Jaguars posted on social media of former Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, looking much happier and more comfortable around him.
That elicited a reaction from Jones. I have written “Mac said Jax seemed happier lol That was Northeast, not Bill x1000000000000,” followed by a thumbs down emoji.
This comment must have caught the attention of Patriots fans who didn’t appreciate the statement. I made a second post called Connected to many others.
“Pats fans didn’t like that comment. (Laughter) Stop acting like you run the world and the players don’t.” [f–k] up..player [f–k] Come on, don’t move the world. The fans said, “You think the same way (I was about to say Mack had a garbage season…)” and they let me see them win games in the NFL…”
he He then called his fans “Acting like you can do more than any football player on any roster” and saying players should be given time and support to develop is trash.
“One day we all love Mac and the next day we hate him. One day we love Jack and the next day he’s a criminal walking around with a gun. Raiders country is standing tall despite all the ups and downs since I got here.”I have nothing but good things to say.” Posted by Jones.
Jones spent most of the 2023 season with the Patriots after being arrested on weapons charges at Boston’s Logan Airport in June.
The charges were dropped in September after Jones agreed to one year of pretrial probation and 48 hours of community service.
The Patriots cut Jones without explanation in November, and he was acquired by the Raiders on November 14th.

The Raiders’ corner flashed some of the ability that made him a talented defensive back early on during his tenure in New England.
