A. Bennett, a witness in the trial of Young Thug and YSL’s co-defendants, made bombshell remarks to one of the rapper’s attorneys in court Monday.
Bennett claimed that she felt abused and “sexually harassed” by one of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office investigators, the complaint said. fox 5 news. Young Thug’s lawyer, Keith Adams, told Bennett: “When you got back there, you said he didn’t want you to come see him because he sexually harassed you.” She said yes, according to Fox 5 News. Adams read aloud a series of text messages that investigators allegedly sent to Bennett. “Call me if you’re bored later,” his message read, according to Fox 5 News.

This morning, texts from a DA investigator to a female witness at Young Thug’s trial were released.
How despicable that you are trying to date this woman while also talking to her about trial testimony.

Many of the text messages were read out loud by Adams.
“He called you ‘Mom’ so many times,” he said, continuing to read the message.
“Call me again and I’ll shave your hair for the night,” Adams read.
“When you were thinking about whether you should come here and testify, did it ever cross your mind that an employee of the district attorney’s office was trying to date you?” Adams asked.

“Yes,” Bennett answered, agreeing with Adams’ argument.
Bennett went on to acknowledge that law enforcement officers repeatedly told her they wanted to “take her out once the investigation was over.” She went on to say that she blocked the investigator because he called her multiple times to discuss “non-court matters,” according to Fox 5 News.

Bennett was originally called by prosecutors to discuss charges that Young Thug and another person, believed to be the famous rapper’s brother, robbed Bennett at gunpoint in 2013. Bennett was initially reluctant to testify in court and was detained after attempting to refuse to appear. .

Young Thug (real name Jeffrey Williams) was arrested on May 9, 2022, after being accused of being the co-founder of Young Slime Life (YSL), an offshoot of the Bloods street gang. He faces RICO charges as part of a lengthy trial, and he currently has 50 court dates. According to FOX 5 News, prosecutors allege Young Thug has been involved in violent criminal activity in the city dating back to 2012.
