OSBI Public Affairs Manager Hunter McKee made the comments Tuesday, 10 days after the women disappeared while on their way to pick up their children. Investigators say their car was found abandoned in rural Oklahoma on March 30 and they suspect “foul play.”
“It’s a huge area. It’s a remote area, so the search is still ongoing,” McKee said. “We are still talking to multiple people, but we hope to find something soon.”
“It’s been over a week,” he added. “We hope that we can find them alive, but clearly that is becoming increasingly difficult.”

Kelly has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and tan or beige shoes.

According to OSBI, the vehicle they were in was “found abandoned near Highway 95 and L Road in rural Texas County, south of Elkhart, Kansas.”
