Country star Jelly Roll claims he actually turned down a chance to meet Combs last October.

Appearing in “Canceled due to Tana Mongeau’s appearance” podcast, Jelly Roll talked about his past interactions with celebrities and explained why he was intimidated by Combs.
“I’m going to tell this story, and I’m probably going to get in trouble for it. It’s a hot topic, so I’m not going to harp on it. But I did it.” [‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’] “That’s the day Diddy did Kimmel,” he revealed.

“I don’t know what it was. At first I was joking. I was like, ‘Who wouldn’t want to meet the guy who killed Tupac?'” Combs was implicated in the murder. The rumors persisted for a long time. He accused the late rapper Tupac Shakur of the crime, but he was never formally charged.
“Nobody thought it was funny. So I thought, ‘Oh, this is the bomb. Maybe we shouldn’t do this anyway.'” So I was already skeptical. “Because I thought I had a funny joke,” he said of his joke.

“I’ve been in pictures with people I didn’t want to be with,” he said, without naming specific individuals.
In recent weeks, Diddy has been photographed at his Star Island property in Miami Beach. It was one of several homes searched. Last month, U.S. officials confirmed to Fox News that the raid was related to a federal human trafficking investigation, but it is unclear whether Diddy is a target of federal agents’ investigation.

Didi’s lawyer previously released a statement condemning the raid.
“Yesterday, there was excessive use of military-level force during the execution of a search warrant at Mr. Combs’ residence. The excessive use of force and hostility shown by authorities, or the treatment of his children and employees. There is no excuse. “Mr. Combs was never in custody, but he spoke with and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor his family have been arrested and have been detained in any way.” There are no travel restrictions,” Aaron Dyer said.
