Alan Ritchson insults Trump, Christians, Catholic church

Actor Alan Ritchson called President Donald Trump a “rapist” and attacked the Catholic Church, while also commenting on the modeling industry.

The self-proclaimed Christian has been sharing videos online of what he calls Instachurch, a series in which the “Reacher” actor explores scripture and how it relates to his life.

“I became a Christian simply because Jesus called us to do it. Love others until death. That doesn’t mean we’re all going to be crucified. But I How can I suffer for you? That’s because I’m a Christian.’ It’s a beautiful thing,” Ritchson said.

These comments contained deep criticism of Christians and the Catholic Church.

“Today’s Christians have become the most bitter tribe,” Ritchson argued. “That’s the exact opposite of what Jesus asked us to do and what we should do.”

The 41-year-old also appears to have appealed to all levels of the Catholic Church beyond the Holy See.

“It’s worth saying that it’s abhorrent that the atrocities that occur within the church are actively covered up and people are not held accountable to this day,” he said. hollywood reporter. “I cannot for one moment support the Catholic Church when its cardinals, bishops, and priests have known pedophilic tendencies.”

Despite his mother being Catholic, Ritchson refused to have any connection with the church, the newspaper reported. Christians who supported President Trump were also shot.

Despite being a “rapist,” Ritchson is said to have been angry with Christians over his collaboration with the former president.

“Trump is a rapist and a fraud, but the entire Christian church seems to be treating him like their poster child, and that’s unrealistic. I don’t understand it.”

Ritchson has been involved in activism in the past, and some of his comments have resurfaced. This included a 2020 photo of the actor wearing a shirt that read, “Arrest the Cop Who Killed Breonna Taylor.” This was in reference to a woman who was shot and killed by police while executing a warrant in a drug case.

“It was a tragic incident,” Ritchson said. “Police get away with murder all the time, but the fact that we can’t actually hold them accountable for their wrongdoings disturbs me.”

Ritchson also called for complete “reform” and argued that it takes longer to train as a “hairstylist” than as a “police officer.”

Ritchson also made claims about the modeling agency he used to work for. He called the industry “legalized sex trafficking” and compared being hired for the job to “human trafficking” for photographers, adding that it was “unregulated.”

“I can’t count on two hands the number of times and situations where I was put in a horrible situation where the motive was sexual abuse and the paycheck I was desperately seeking to survive was a carrot. It was pretty frequent.”
