cable news evaluation The first quarter of 2024 will have great news for Fox News, so-so news for MSNBC, and yet another humiliation for the far-left hate news outlet called CNN.
We just happened to be in a presidential election year, and CNNLOL’s total daily viewership was already hovering near zero for Romantic, but it still managed to drop compared to last quarter. Meanwhile, MSNBC and FOX News both saw ratings rise.
In terms of total daily viewers, FOX News viewership increased 7% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
MSNBC increased total daily viewership by 3%.
CNNLOL lost 7% of its total daily viewers compared to last quarter.
Despite the excitement surrounding the presidential primaries, CNN was only able to increase its already embarrassing prime-time total viewership by just 1 percent compared to last quarter.
Fox News increased its primetime total viewership by a whopping 13%, and MSNBC increased its primetime total viewership by 7%.
It’s the raw numbers that really tell the story…CNN is now nothing – zero, barely an echo. Almost no one has seen it, but it’s really amazing. here are the raw numbers for the first quarter of 2024. Demo for 25-54 year olds to set total viewership and ad rates.
Prime Time: Total Viewers / Demo Viewers
- Fox News: 2.067 million / 233K
- MSNBC: 1.253 million / 121K
- CNN: 594,000 / 122K
Total 1 day: Total viewers / Demo viewers
- Fox News: 1.297 million / 156,000
- MSNBC: 814K/82K
- CNN: 467K / 85K
CNN’s highest-rated show isn’t even a prime-time show. This was plagiarist Fareed Zakaria’s weekend show, which averaged just 722,000 viewers. Compare that to FOX News’ top-rated show. Fivewhich attracted an average of 3.038 million viewers.
MSNBC’s highest-rated show remains Rachel Maddow’s Monday show. On average he was watched by 2,533,000 people, of which he was watched by 236,000 in the demo.
CNN is all happy about it CNN and Casey Hunt this morning saw Viewership increased by 19%. Wow, 19 percent! Hunt currently has 53,000 viewers, up from 44,000. Sorry, Casey, a 19 percent increase in zero is still zero.
Disgraced former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo continues to be under fire on NewsNation. He is also NewsNation’s highest rated host, with an average total audience of just 167,000 and a demo audience of 27,000.
Compare Mr. Cuomo’s 167,000 viewers to Rob Schmidt’s 449,000 average viewers and 27,000 demo viewers on Newsmax.
I won’t be very happy to see CNN slowly decline over the next five years. If I could take a pill that would open my mind to hate CNN even more, I would swallow the whole bottle.
