In this special episode of “Sara Gonzalez Unfiltered,” our favorite spicy Latina invites Dr. Andrew Wakefield, a former gastrointestinal surgeon and medical researcher. Dr. Andrew Wakefield is a “swindler, discredited academic, [and] Anti-Vaccine Activist” – Challenging the mainstream narrative around Big Pharma.
Matthew Marsden will also be joining the show. Blaze TV He is a contributor and star of Wakefield’s new film Protocol-7. The film is a bombshell “whistleblower story” chronicling the true events of the lawsuit against Merck & Co. over its allegedly harmful MMR vaccine.
Together, the three discuss what Sarah calls “the epic level of corruption at Big Pharma.”
So how did Dr. Wakefield become “Big Pharma’s No. 1 Enemy”?
Simple. He told the truth even when the truth was inconvenient.
Dr Wakefield said that “opposing government policy and threatening pharmaceutical profiteering” would “take away a relatively promising medical career and flush it down the toilet”, adding: “It’s been 30 years. , are involved in this fight,” he added. ”
The long-standing story surrounding Dr. Wakefield is that he claimed that “vaccines cause autism.”
However, that’s far from the complete story.
“In 1995, I started getting calls from parents saying their child was completely fine… Then they gave him the MMR vaccine, but then he had a seizure and was never the same again. The lights went out and eventually they were diagnosed with autism,” he told Sarah.
Dr. Wakefield had no training in autism, but parents kept calling him because their children were also experiencing painful “intractable bowel disease.” was within his scope of practice.
But “the doctors and nurses I talked to dismissed this. They said, ‘This is just autism, get used to it, put it at home, forget about it, move on. Say, [and] Please give birth to another child. ”
Thankfully, Dr. Wakefield did not simply follow suit and “assembled a large team of eminent physicians and the world’s leading pediatric gastroenterologists at the time.”
“We studied these kids and the parents were absolutely right,” he says. “The children had inflammatory bowel disease. We treated that bowel disease in the same way you would treat Crohn’s disease or colitis with anti-inflammatory drugs, and not only did their bowel symptoms improve; I started talking again.”

When it became clear that “medical experts were wrong on virtually every point” about the efficacy of vaccines, Dr. Wakefield said, “We should separate these vaccines into their component parts… perhaps a year apart. ” was proposed.
In other words, he did not suggest not taking the vaccine, but rather taking the vaccines separately to better study the effects of each vaccine.
So, although he “has not drawn any conclusions,” he says,[no] In the end, he proposes a “more detailed study” based on the case series he created, and according to protocol, his words are twisted and manipulated, and eventually he is banished from medical practice altogether. It happened.
