Authorities in Florida are searching for a suspect in the armed carjacking and murder of a woman whose body was found in the burned remains of her SUV.
The carjacking of a white 2017 Dodge Durango occurred Thursday just before 6 p.m. winter springs, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said in a press release. The SUV is believed to have been driven by Katherine Altagracia Guerrero de Aguasvivas, 31, of Homestead, Florida.
The carjacking was captured on camera by a witness at a red light at the busy intersection of East Lake Drive and Tuscawilla Road in Winter Springs. The video shows a man wearing a black hoodie and mask approaching the driver’s seat of the SUV with what appears to be a machine gun, then pointing the gun at the driver of a green Acura sedan right behind him. ing. The Durango had Florida license plate number KVFF22 and had a “For Sale” sign and phone number on the back. The phone number is associated with Miguel Ángel Aguasvivas Lizardo of Florida City, according to records obtained by . WPLG-TV.
Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma said investigators are “very concerned” about the Acura and that both suspects “should be considered armed and dangerous.”
The suspicious vehicle was caught on camera by a witness who recorded a video during the carjacking.
