Iran’s General Salami Lauds ‘Successful’ Attack on Israel, Warns Against Retaliation

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) commander Hossein Salami on Sunday praised the drone and missile attack on Israel, calling it more successful than expected and warning against any retaliation from the Jewish state or its allies.

As Breitbart News reported, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted “the majority” of “dozens” of drones and cruise missiles sent to attack Israel, but the Salami’s boast came despite announcing that the missiles had hit several targets, including an IDF base.

In all, a swarm of more than 300 drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles were used in Tehran’s air strikes.

Israel’s air defense system, supported by US, British and Jordanian assets, also intercepted Iranian drones and helped neutralize the state-on-state attack.

Amid his greatest successes, Salami made another claim:

Although information on all hits is not yet complete, for some hits there are accurate and documented field-related reports showing that the operation was carried out with greater success than expected. Masu.

Iranian state media IRNA also said: be familiar with Revolutionary Guards commander warns that Israel will “regret past actions and learn lessons from Iranian attacks” and any Israeli response to recent Iranian attacks will be met with a “stronger response” I argued that it would be.

As reported by Breitbart News, the attack appears to be in retaliation for an April 1 Israeli airstrike that took out seven senior Iranian military officials, including two generals, in Damascus, Syria.

The only Israeli casualty was an Arab-Israeli girl, a Bedouin Muslim, who was hit by shrapnel in the Israeli city of Arad.

Iran has been using terrorist proxies to attack Israel for decades and accelerated its attacks after the October 7 Hamas invasion.

Israel said any attack from Iranian territory amounts to an attack on Iran.
