A Third of Democrats Want Biden ‘Tougher’ on Israel

Roughly one-third of Democratic voters say they feel President Joe Biden should be “tougher” on Israel, according to a recent poll.

When asked about their sympathy for Israel or the Palestinians, 22% of Democrats said they were more sympathetic to the Palestinians, and 16% said they were more sympathetic to the Israelis. 44% said they sympathized with both sides.

Meanwhile, 45% of Republicans say they are more sympathetic to Israel, compared to 25% of independents. Seven percent of Republicans said they were more sympathetic to the Palestinians, while 13% of independents said they were more sympathetic to the Palestinians.
