Alexa PenaVega and her husband Carlos announced their daughter’s stillbirth in a joint message shared on social media on Monday.
“There are no appropriate words when it comes to loss. After a beautiful and peaceful birth, our daughter ‘Indy’ was born peacefully,” the couple wrote on Instagram. “It has been a painful journey, but in the midst of the pain we have found peace. God continues to comfort us and hold us in His arms.”
The couple announced their fourth pregnancy in November. They have three children, sons Ocean (7) and Kingston (4), and daughter Rio (2).

“Prayers from the community around us have been such a support during this difficult season. This little girl has already changed our lives in so many ways,” they said. writing. “She was really beautiful, and she looked like her daddy, her dark hair and everything.
“The grief came to us in waves. There were moments where it was completely gut-wrenching…and then there were moments where we felt happy just to be able to spend time with her.”

They added, “We don’t understand why things like this happen and we may never get answers. Indy Rex PenaVega, you have completely changed our world. You gave us the community we so desperately needed.” I love you and can’t wait to see you change so many other lives. ”

Candace Cameron Bure shared a tender condolence message for the couple, writing, “We love you. We love you baby Indy. We love you and Ross and the kids and all of you. We pray for the day we meet again. With all our hearts, we are here for you.” ! ! ! ! ”

Alexa has shared her fears on social media during her pregnancy. Last month, she posted a video of herself from the hospital where she was admitted for five days. She had experienced “bleeding” during the third trimester of her pregnancy and said there was a moment when she felt “this is bad”.

At the time, doctors said it was likely that Alexa’s placenta had separated and that she was still considered “low risk.”
The Penavegas met at a Bible study, got engaged in 2013, and married four months later. Pena Vega rose to fame with the series “Spy Kids,” while Carlos was the star of his Nickelodeon series “Big Time Rush,” as well as a member of the band of the same name.
They left Los Angeles in 2017 in search of a more meaningful life for their family and put down roots in Maui, Hawaii..
