The bipartisan bill is led by Rep. Randy Webber (R-Texas) and co-sponsored by 141 members of the House, including Republicans and Democrats.
“Decades of Tehran’s oppressive regime destabilized the Middle East and intentionally spread chaos throughout the region, resulting in Iran’s direct attack on Israel, its largest ally,” Weber told Fox News Digital. It has come to this,” he said.

It also acknowledged “the rights of the Iranian people and their struggle to establish a democratic, secular, and nuclear-free Republic of Iran,” and confirmed U.S. support for the Iranian people who demonstrated against the Islamic fundamentalist government. .
