This recipe requires an air fryer.Enjoy with sweet dip saucefresh salad, and (since the air fryer was already out) homemade fries!

- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Trader Joe’s Umami 2 tablespoons seasoning
- avocado oil spray can
Instructions
- Pat wings with paper towel to remove excess moisture. Make sure the wings are extremely dry. You may want to squeeze it out several times with a new paper towel. This will cause the skin to swell and blister in the air fryer basket while frying.
- Mix umami seasoning, white pepper, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Lightly spray chicken wings with oil.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the dry ingredients and toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- Spray the inside of the airfryer lightly with oil.
- Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer and fry at 400F for 10 minutes.
- Flip the wings and continue frying at 400°F for 8 to 12 minutes (depending on the size of the wings) or until the skin is golden brown and crispy. Depending on the size of your airfryer, you may need to do two rounds.
- Serve with your favorite wing sauce (TJ’s Thai Sweet Ginger in this recipe). sauce (great) or eat dry and enjoy!
