The president campaigned in Wisconsin last month, and Trump stopped in the state earlier this month.

Wisconsin is also one of the few states that could determine whether Republicans regain the Senate majority.

Among registered voters, Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin leads Republican challenger Eric Hovde 52% to 47%, according to the poll. But surveys suggest the race is deadlocked at 50% among likely voters.

The Marquette Law School poll asked 814 registered voters and had an overall sampling error of plus or minus 4.8 percentage points.
