On “Making Money,” mixed martial artist Renato Moicano explains his attraction to the Austrian economy and shares his love for America.
UFC star Renato Moicano says he wants to receive his bonus payments in Bitcoin as interest rates are expected to rise.
“Even though Bitcoin has fallen a little, [a] It is a defense against tyrannical states, and it is also a defense against inflation. Because everyone knows what Bitcoin is, so it’s going to go up eventually,” Moicano explained on Wednesday’s “Making Money.”
The mixed martial arts fighter argued that governments cannot “control” the money supply and constantly printing money would be “beneficial” to cryptocurrencies.

He told host Charles Payne that Bitcoin represents “supply, demand and scarcity” and is a “big part” of the Austrian Economics Department.
Anthony Pompliano, an investor at Pump Investments, argues that Bitcoin will eventually become more valuable than gold in “making money.”
Moicano, a follower of the Austrian school of economics, first discovered the theory when he joined the UFC.

The Brazilian native argued that some Americans don’t understand how important it is to “love the empire of law.”
“What made America successful in wealth and prosperity was a free market society, a free market of ideas, and a system of accountability and justice,” he said.
