A North Carolina high school student has been charged with assault after he was caught on camera slapping a teacher and using profanity.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) announced on Facebook that the incident involving the unidentified boy occurred on April 15 at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem. videos posted online In this photo, a student stands over a sitting teacher before punching her in the face.
“Do you think it affected me in any way?” I hear the teacher ask.

The school’s principal, Noel Keener, told parents in a message that the student would be subject to criminal charges and disciplinary action for “inappropriate and disturbing” behavior, local television station WGHP reported.
Neither a spokesperson nor the superintendent of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools responded to a FOX News Digital investigation about what happened, but Superintendent Tricia McManus said: told WGHP It said the student’s “actions will not be tolerated” and focused on “ensuring the teacher is well cared for and has the support she needs to overcome the lasting effects of this incident.”
The superintendent will also recommend expulsion from the district at a hearing separate from the legal hearing.

FCSO Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough Jr. said in a department release: “We should all be outraged if those who educate us could be assaulted.” “We wish the students who witnessed this and the educators involved well.”
The student is charged with one count of communicating a threat and two counts of misdemeanor assault. The sheriff’s office says because he is a juvenile, no further information will be released.
