House Democrats are under fire for waving a Ukrainian flag on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives during a vote to approve $60 billion in aid for national defense.
“As you vote to send more of your hard-earned money to corrupt foreign regimes, a Ukrainian flag will be displayed on the floor of the United States House of Representatives,” Sen. The flag waving was slammed by more Republicans on social media, with Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) saying it showed the congressman “cares more about Ukraine than you guys do.” he claimed.
