Calista Flockhart had a vague idea of who Harrison Ford was before her first date with her future husband.
Flockhart was with “Ally McBeal” songwriter and co-star Vonda Shepard at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards, where Ford first introduced himself to Callista. Asked if she thought, “Oh my god, Han Solo is talking to me,” Flockhart’s answer was simple.
“I knew it sounded really crazy because I hadn’t seen ‘Star Wars,’ but I didn’t,” Flockhart said. Sunday Times. “But I grew up in a small town that didn’t have a movie theater.”

She added, “I knew who Harrison Ford was! But I didn’t think, ‘Oh, this is Indiana Jones.'” It was more like, “This guy is a lewd old man, what is he doing at our table?” I was a smart person…”
After chatting for a while, they later had drinks together. In her past, Ford said, “I invited her over to her house, we danced together, and then I took her back to her house.”
“Yes, that was very appropriate,” Flockhart agreed. Their similarities include that they both like to do crosswords together, and Calista said, “I like to cook and he likes to eat.”

Although she prefers to hike trails and stay grounded, the aviation enthusiast takes to the skies whenever she can. She never says she wants him to stop pursuing that hobby.
“No, it’s no use. Of course I’m worried, but I’m glad he’s happy,” she said.

Harrison and Calista married in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2010. Harrison was 67 years old and Calista was 45 when they said they were getting married, and they celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in June.
The “Indiana Jones” actor appeared on Hello! In 2003, the magazine reported that he started dating the “Capote vs. the Swan” star and was instantly smitten.

“I think romantic love is the most exciting and fulfilling kind of love, and it can happen at any stage of life,” Ford said. “I wasn’t surprised that I was able to fall in love, and I wasn’t surprised that I fell in love.”

Regarding their 22-year age difference, Flockhart got candid about their romance.

“It doesn’t upset me. Sometimes I even say, ‘Wow, I tend to forget that he’s 22 years older than me.'” That has absolutely nothing to do with our relationship. ”
The couple have one son, Liam Flockhart, whom he adopted before they started dating, and who Ford also adopted after their marriage.
