Although many Republicans blame Donald Trump for the lack of support among women in the party, women’s pattern of voting blue began long before his reign.
Steve Diace has the receipt.
In 2004, John Kerry had over 18 points of support among unmarried women, and George Bush had over 10 points of support among married women.
This trend continued in each election through 2020, with the only exception being Hillary Clinton, who polled more than 2 points ahead of Trump among married women and more than 29 points ahead of unmarried women.
“This is the mental state of unmarried women, because this is caused by certain problems. Unmarried women just want to be able to kill their children at any time,” Diess explains. It doesn’t get any more complicated than that,” he added.
And he doesn’t expect that to change.
“Frankly, there’s not much we can do to close this gap, because what is the most loyal issue voting base within the Republican Party?” Deese asks, “the pro-life base.”
“The more married people are, the more likely they are to vote Republican, and the less married people are, the more likely they are to vote Democratic,” he continues.
“This is truly the biggest divide in American voting patterns.”
