The DC swamp is so irredeemably bad that sometimes you need to laugh it off.
And it comes as Peter Doocy tells White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about Biden’s strangest claim yet: that his uncle was killed in Papua New Guinea when his plane was shot down during World War II. That’s exactly what Pat Gray did when asked about being eaten by cannibals.
“Why does President Biden say that his uncle Bosie was eaten by cannibals?” Doocy asked, with an expression and tone that could only be described as playful sarcasm.
Pat burst out laughing at the journalist’s unapologetic disbelief.
KJP’s response was predictable: “I don’t have much to say.” “I think the president had an emotional and symbolic moment. He had the opportunity as president to honor his uncle’s accomplishments in uniform.”
She then proceeded to give a silent lecture about Biden. ”[speaking] For my uncle’s courage” and “[making] “This is a lawsuit to honor our sacred promise to equip those we send to war,” he said, ending with a lie that Donald Trump called America’s veterans “suckers and losers.” Ta.
The whole ordeal is humorous in a way, but Pat’s laughter stops at “Lies About Donald Trump.”
“Scumbags don’t even begin to summarize who these people are,” he says.
