According to a Boston police report, Lucic appeared to be intoxicated when officers arrived at their North End apartment early Saturday morning after receiving a report that he had tried to strangle his wife. Brittany Lucic told the officers who responded to her that her husband pulled her hair, but she did not try to strangle her. She declined her offer of treatment.
The two married on July 19, 2012, but the case was ultimately dismissed in February after Brittany decided not to testify against her husband.
“The organization takes this matter very seriously and will work with the Lucic family to provide them with the support and support they need,” the team said in a statement at the time of the arrest.
