House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) is joined by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. House Minority Leader (D-N.Y.) is a “whole equity partner in the firm.” (New York), Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) said during an appearance Tuesday. Breitbart News Daily.
Mr Lee said he had previously considered Mr Johnson a friend and ally, but said he had now moved in the “opposite direction” and was “not on the field side” as he had hoped. . Additionally, Lee said he is disappointed to report that Schumer, McConnell and Jeffries “appear to have been elevated to full equity partners in the firm.”
“I don’t know how to explain it,” he said, pointing out that Johnson had adopted a “corporate” approach.
“I’ve never seen a flip like that. I’ve never seen such a change in the opposite direction of what I expected. And you know, I’ve seen a lot of decisions that he made. I defended him. I personally defended him in situations where he made decisions that I didn’t like, and I thought, “Okay, he’s going to bounce back.” But I think he found his feet. They’re just not on that side of the field that I expected and expected,” the Senator explained.

Mr. Lee has responded to various theories as to why Mr. Johnson was so upset, with some wondering if there was something wrong with him and others suggesting that a better negotiator could have helped him get the better of him. Some people think it’s just that. Some wonder if Mr Johnson is crooked as he works with the majority minority in the House of Commons. But Lee said he tends to be drawn to simpler explanations.
“For me, the simplest explanation, and therefore the one I like the most, is that sometimes when someone gets into a position of power, they genuinely like being in that position of power…so perhaps for some reason And he’s saying that the best way to hold this position and be speaker for a long time is to get along with the war hawks, the information hawks, and the other militant moderates in the House, even if he’s not. “Even if,” he said, adding that this is not how Mr Johnson has typically voted in the past.
listen:
“I think he chose his side to stay in power, but, quite ironically, choosing to stay in power ultimately led to his own demise as chairman. “I think it’s going to happen,” Lee predicted, pointing out the current state of the Republican Party. For some reason you can’t get anything done with a slim majority, but Democrats don’t seem to have that problem when they’re in a similar position.
“Why is there such a simple majority for Democrats in the Senate – they need 60 votes to pass most things – when Democrats can literally get everything they want in the Senate? , can Republicans literally get everything they want in the Senate? A simple majority carries the day, and they don’t get exactly what they want in the House, primarily in the Sensitive Classified Intelligence Facility (SCIF). He criticized Prime Minister Johnson for hiding behind the scenes and conducting discussions without explaining how he reached his conclusion.
“If you can’t justify your vote by what you can say in public, you may be doing something wrong. Don’t say, “I’m right.” And you are wrong. But I can’t tell you why. “That’s not appropriate,” Lee said.
