London police capture 2 horses roaming city streets

London police captured two military horses that were left loose without a rider in the center of the British capital on Wednesday morning. Several other horses are believed to still be at large.

Details of what happened are still sketchy, but British media reported that seven warhorses were initially released and that police worked with military personnel to capture them.

It was reported that a taxi driver waiting near Buckingham Palace had his car window smashed by a creepy horse, and the windshield of a parked double-decker tour bus was damaged.

London Police said the two horses had been recovered and officers were awaiting a box from the British Army to retrieve them and take them to a veterinarian.

They were seen driving down a road near Aldwych, between London’s historic financial center and the West End, the heart of the capital’s entertainment industry.

Police detained the horse near Limehouse, about six miles east of central London.
