A U.S. Secret Service employee reporting to Vice President Kamala Harris has been removed from duty after getting into a fistfight with another employee while on duty Monday, Fox News Digital has learned.
The fight was first reported by the New York Post and sources confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The incident occurred at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, while Harris was at the Naval Observatory, but did not delay her departure from the base, the Secret Service told Fox News Digital.
Anthony Guglielmi, director of public affairs for the U.S. Secret Intelligence Service, called the incident a “medical matter” and added that the agency would have no further comment.
Records show Biden dogs, commanders, and secret force members were attacked at least 24 times.

“At approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 22nd, a U.S. Secret Service special agent who was assisting Vice President Andrews with his departure from Joint Base began behaving in a manner that made his colleagues uncomfortable,” Guglielmi said. he said in a statement shared with FOX News Digital.

He added, “The agent was removed from duty while medical personnel were called. The vice president was at the Naval Observatory at the time of this incident, but his departure from Joint Base Andrews was not affected.” he added.
“The U.S. Secret Service takes the safety and health of its employees very seriously. As this is a medical matter, we will not provide further details.”
Real Clear Politics reported that the agent, who was acting “erratic,” climbed on top of the special agent assigned to him and began punching him.

The agent, who was handcuffed and treated by medical staff after the incident, had previously been the subject of concerns from staff, the newspaper reported.
