At a recent storytelling event at a Massachusetts art center, a drag queen encouraged children to chant “Free Palestine.”
The chant was reportedly led by drag queen Lil Miss Hot Mess during an event titled “Queer Storytime for Palestine” at the Northampton Arts Center on April 14. . Daily Mail.
“The event, organized by Valley Families for Palestine, was aimed at children from preschool to upper elementary school,” the newspaper said. “Lil Miss Hot Female, wearing a sparkly red dress, green boa, and a large watermelon-shaped brooch, reads “If You’re a Drag Queen, You Know It.” I was there.”
The event celebrated Palestinian culture, explored queer heroes, and introduced children to arts and crafts.
Lil Miss Hot Mess was heard telling the kids, “If you’re a drag queen and you know it screams ‘Liberate Palestine.'”

“What we’re going to do today is shout, ‘Free Palestine!'” Can I hear that? ” he added. “If you’re a drag queen and you know it and you really want to show it, if you’re a drag queen and you know it, shout ‘Liberate Palestine!'”
Lil Hot Mess shared photos from the event Instagram.
“Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Queer Storytime for Palestine event with fellow children’s writers in Northampton,” he said. “While this event was a wonderful reminder of the power of imagination, community, and organization, it also reminded us why we can do this together when Gazans (particularly Palestinian children) are suffering. My heart breaks when I think about how much joy I was able to experience.”
