Republican Rep. Keith Self has warned that the United States will not survive a “fourth Obama term,” saying the U.S.’s global influence will decline under President Joe Biden, who continues former President Barack Obama’s policies. was said to be declining.
He also blamed the weakening of Biden’s alliance with the Jewish state and the rise in anti-Israel protests on college campuses, which he blamed on socialist ideology fueled by “woke” academia. He advised children to inculcate conservative values before enrolling in higher education institutions.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on the sidelines of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Hungary 2024 on Friday, Rep. Keith Self (R-Texas) said that under the Biden administration, “U.S. He lamented the decline in influence. .
“It started with the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Right after that, people started inspecting us and President Putin started moving troops into Ukraine within two months of the withdrawal.” “And frankly, when you’re talking about a nation making a decision to start moving troops into combat, this is lightning speed.”
He also argued that Biden’s term mirrors Obama’s and warned of the risks these policies pose to the country.

“This is the third Obama administration. Let’s admit it,” he said. “Every Obama policy has been exacerbated, encouraged, and implemented by the Biden administration.”
“Therefore, I do not believe that our constitutional republic can survive Obama’s fourth term,” he added.

He also said that the long-standing alliance between the United States and the Jewish state is at a “pretty low point” and that Biden is “doing everything in his power to foil Israel’s mission to destroy Hamas’ infrastructure.” “I’m doing my best,” he said. ”
“We must remember that Israel’s mission in Gaza is to destroy Hamas’ infrastructure,” he told Breitbart News.
Self, who serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee, pointed to the remaining Hamas battalion in southern Gaza and insisted that Israel intended to “wipe it out and finish the job.”
But he noted that Biden is “throwing up all kinds of obstacles to that end.”
“At the end of the day, I think Israel, despite the Biden administration, will probably do everything it can to achieve its goals,” he said.
Self then addressed the ongoing anti-Israel protests on college campuses across the United States, which he described as the result of socialist propaganda.

“these [demonstrations] “It is the result of our universities being incubators of socialism for decades,” he said. “They are fundamentally socialist in their beliefs, teachings, and policies, and we are seeing the results of this manifest in anti-Semitic and pro-Palestinian protests.”
According to Self, this problem “isn’t surprising to us because we’ve known our universities have been waking up for decades.”
As a result, he proposed preparing children with conservative values before entering university.
“If you’re going to send your kids to college, you need to make sure they’re firmly rooted in conservative principles and freedom,” he concluded.
