Bradley Beal had perfect response to Suns’ being swept in NBA Playoffs

Bradley Beal made a bold declaration. phoenix suns They led 0-3 in the first round series against minnesota timberwolves in the 2024 NBA Playoffs. After the Suns’ Game 3 loss, Beal told reporters. “I’ve never been swept away once in my life…I’d be so sorry if that happened.”

Beal’s quote always had the potential to go viral if the Suns lost Game 4. That’s exactly what happened. The Timberwolves defeated Phoenix 122-116 on Sunday night to complete the sweep. An official Timberwolves account will be created within minutes. He posted an image quoting Beer saying, “First time for everything.” Beal scored just nine points on 13 field goal attempts in the elimination game, and certainly contributed to the season-ending loss.

When Beal met with reporters in Phoenix for his season-ending press conference, he prepared a joke in his opening statement to lighten the mood. Watch the video here:

“Fuck you, man,” Beal said, drawing laughter from the reporters surrounding him. It’s good that Beal was aware of the low point of his season, but it’s also a joke that probably isn’t very funny to Suns fans at this point.

This is the original quote image of Beal before the Game 4 loss.

The Suns made a big bet on Beal heading into this season as a third star, perfect to pair with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Beal has played in just 53 games due to injury, and the Suns are finding cohesion among their three stars. In this series, Beal went to the floor and Phoenix led by 51 points. He has three years and $160 million left on his contract, and Phoenix has already used up draft capital by putting together this roster.

It will be an interesting offseason for the Suns. At least the beer will keep you smiling all the way to the bank.
