NY district attorney apologizes for ignoring cop who tried to pull her over for speeding: ‘Get out of my f***ing house!’

A New York district attorney has been forced to apologize after ignoring police orders and calling the police chief to issue a speeding ticket.

As previously reported by Blaze News, Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Dawley refused to stop a police officer in Rochester on April 22 and instead drove to her home, following the officer’s orders. tried to ignore it.

The officer told her he was driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone, and she responded by cursing at him.

“You know what I was dealing with all day? Three murders in the city,” Dooley said in a video released by police. “Do you really think I care that I was driving 20 miles over the speed limit?”

The officer told her that disobeying orders was an “arrestable offense,” but she responded by cursing at the officer.

“Get the fuck out of the house!” she told him.

Body camera footage showed the officer printing out the ticket and giving it to Dooley with a final warning.

“At the end of the day, when you see my lights and siren behind you and obviously they start going off, you can pull over, have a conversation and leave,” he said.

Dooley later issued a statement pleading guilty to speeding.

“I admitted to speeding and received a ticket. By 1 p.m. the next day I pleaded guilty and sent the ticket to Webster Municipal Court because I accepted responsibility for my actions. “I believe in it and had no intention of using my position to profit from it,” she wrote.

“No one is above the law, including the district attorney, not even traffic laws,” Dawley added.
