Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlowe told Judicial Watch’s Chris Farrell that the Democrats who control the U.S. government are “trying to criminalize being a conservative.”
“They’re trying to criminalize being a conservative,” Marlowe said, adding, “This is happening throughout the government, it’s happening throughout the media, it’s happening throughout the judicial system.”

Marlowe cited as an example the subpoena of Leonard Leo, chairman of the board of directors of the Federalist Society. ” he pointed out.
“He’s an incredibly smart, incredibly skilled lawyer, one of the ultimate conservative organizers, one of the most powerful people, a stand-up guy,” Marlowe said. Told. “So they are subpoenaing him in a way that I think is illegal and challenging him to defy the subpoena.”
Farrell responded by pointing to the subpoena of President Trump’s former trade adviser Peter Navarro as another example.

“Look at Peter Navarro,” Farrell said. “A 74-year-old Princeton University doctor is being treated like a homicidal maniac and dragged to prison.”

“And Dick Durbin, one of the most corrupt administrators on Capitol Hill, is going after Leonard Leo as Judiciary Chairman. Durbin is not qualified to shine Leo’s shoes. ” he added.
