The father of a New Jersey “murderer” who forced his 6-year-old son to run on a treadmill said he did it because the child was “too fat,” shocking new video alleges child abuse. It became clear.
Christopher Gregor, 31, is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday to stand trial on charges of killing his son Corey Micciolo in 2021, and could face life in prison if convicted.
During the trial, surveillance video was shown in Ocean City Superior Court showing Gregor forcing Micciolo to run on a treadmill after Micciolo fell repeatedly because the treadmill was going too fast.

The footage showed Gregor approaching a treadmill to increase speed and increase the incline of the track.
The sudden change was too much for the boy’s legs, and he fell and slipped off the tracks.
Gregor picked up his son and put him back on the treadmill, his legs folded back and it looked like his father had sunk his teeth into Micciolo’s head.
The boy got back on, but fell again and continued to struggle to stay on the machine, eventually forcing his father to reduce both the speed and the incline.
The boy’s mother, Bre Micciolo, who was the first to take the stand, cried as she watched the horrifying footage.
According to the U.S. Sun, Bre Micciolo reported the boy’s injuries to the New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Permanent Residency days before his son’s death.
On April 1, she asked Gregor to take her son to the doctor.
During the appointment, Corey Micciolo revealed that his father made him run on a treadmill “because he was too fat,” the newspaper reported.
The next day, when the boy woke up from a nap, he stumbled, had slurred speech, felt nauseous and short of breath, and Gregor rushed him to the hospital, according to Court TV.
During the CT scan, Micciolo suffered a seizure, forcing medical staff to attempt life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful.
Initial autopsy results showed that Micciolo died from blunt force trauma with contusion of the heart and liver accompanied by acute inflammation and sepsis.
Gregor was arrested in July 2021 on child abandonment charges stemming from investigators reviewing surveillance footage from the fitness center.
“Specifically, we had (Micciolo) run on a treadmill, increased the speed, caused (Micciolo) to fall, put (Micciolo) back on the moving treadmill while making it appear as if he had bitten his head, and caused the child to run several more times. In September 2021, a forensic pathologist determined that Micciolo’s death was due to chronic abuse, including blunt impact injuries to the chest and abdomen with lacerations to the heart, left lung contusion, and liver lacerations and contusions. It was ruled a homicide.
According to Court TV, Dr. Thomas Andrew believes Mr. Micciolo suffered acute trauma to his heart between four and 12 hours before his death.
Gregor was arrested on March 9, 2022 for his son’s death.
He has since rejected a 30-year plea deal and is being held in the Ocean City Jail without bail.
