While filming one of her scenes, a man she didn’t know yelled at her, “Damn, Amy Schumer! You’re a Zionist! You love genocide!”
“My heart rate didn’t go up either,” Schumer said. “I didn’t cry. There was nothing.”
She said she noticed that society is now more focused on scrutinizing “Jews” in public life than Hamas and its supporters, who carried out the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel. Ta.

Schumer, who stars in Jerry Seinfeld’s Netflix comedy “Unfrosted,” told the outlet that she believes even representing Israeli interests is offensive to pro-Palestinian people.
“We’ve reached a point where we can’t speak for other Jews without people feeling like we’re disrespecting the situation in Gaza,” the comedian said, certainly criticizing the Israeli government for its response to the war. In Gaza, he added.
