New York firefighter adopts puppy he helped rescue after she was hit by a car: ‘I’d love to take her’

A puppy rescued by firefighters in Buffalo, New York, has found a forever home thanks to one of the men who rescued him from the streets.

Anthony Pulvino, 30, of the Buffalo Fire Department, told Fox News Digital: “I may have taken her, but all of our members worked together to save her.”

Pulvino said two teenagers showed up at the entrance to the Engine Co. 19 fire station last month with a puppy in their arms, asking for help.

The dog had no collar or identification.
