Shocking video has been captured of the moment a teenage ATV rider was seriously injured after crashing into a police cruiser in a Connecticut park.
New Haven police released video Wednesday showing an unidentified 19-year-old ATV rider losing control and crashing into the windshield of a patrol car at East Rock Park on Sunday afternoon. According to WSFA.

Dashcam footage shows a police car slowly pulling up to block the left side of the road, and as the ATV sped toward an area where people were walking, a small vehicle swerved and rolled over, causing the rider to crash. The video showed the vehicle colliding with the windshield.
According to WSFA, the 19-year-old rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The police chief said charges will eventually be filed.

Jacobson said an initial summary found no misconduct by the officers and there was no reason to investigate further, but said the maneuver was justified because the ATV was headed in the direction the family was walking. Ta.
