Kate Middleton and Prince William ‘going through hell’ amid Princess of Wales’ cancer battle, stylist says

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ “go-to” stylist has said the family is going through a tough time as Kate, Duchess of Wales continues her battle with cancer.

Amaia Arrieta, a clothing designer who has styled Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and the prince, said: “My heart is broken right now. I think they are going through hell.” I hope that happens. It’s really personal.” Louis, 6 years old, told the Telegraph.

Representatives for Prince William and Duchess Kate chose not to comment when contacted by Fox News Digital.

Middleton, who stayed out of the spotlight throughout 2024, revealed in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for all the wonderful messages of support and understanding while I was recovering from surgery,” Middleton said in a video recorded and released last month. Stated. “The last few months have been incredibly difficult for our entire family, but I am so grateful to my amazing medical team for taking great care of me.”

She explained that her condition was believed to be “non-cancerous” after undergoing abdominal surgery in December. However, further tests revealed that she “had cancer.” She was advised by her medical team to start her chemotherapy.

“Of course this was a huge shock. William and I have done everything we can to handle and manage this privately for our young family.” Mr Middleton said:. “As you can imagine, this took time. It took time to recover from major surgery and start treatment. But most importantly, it took George, Charlotte and Louis everything in one way. I mean, it took me a while to explain,’ because it’s appropriate for them and to reassure them that I’m okay. ”

“Like I told them, I get better and stronger every day by focusing on things that help heal my mind, body, and spirit,” Kate added. “Having William by my side is a source of great comfort and reassurance, as well as the love, support and kindness shown by so many of you. It means so much to both of us. That’s it.”

Shortly after the announcement, Arietta posted words of encouragement for Middleton and his family.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Princess of Wales and her family as they bravely face cancer and undergo preventive chemotherapy,” she wrote on Instagram. “We stand in solidarity with her and offer our support, strength and steadfast hope to her well-being and recovery.”

Earlier this week, Prince William gave a rare update on his wife’s health.

On Tuesday, the Prince of Wales stopped by James Place Newcastle in England and was greeted by a welcoming crowd. His wife has put her official duties on hold while she receives treatment.

“May I ask how your wife and children are doing?” one woman says in a video shared on Instagram by Royals fan account WalesVideos.

“We’re all fine, thank you,” the father of three said.

“And obviously Catherine?” the woman asked.

“We’re all doing well,” the 41-year-old insisted.
