Hulk Hogan Speaks on Christian Life Following Baptism, Says He’s ‘All In’ with God

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, emphasized that he is “all in” with God. As a believer in Jesus Christ, he said, “It seems like an easy choice for anyone to just surrender and accept Him as their Savior.”

He shared what Christ would bring to him in comparison to what Christ would offer to him. church leaders report.

Despite becoming a Christian at age 14, Hogan admitted, “I went off the rails.”

As Crosswalk Headlines previously reported, Hogan and his wife Skye Daley Hogan were baptized at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida, last December.

“This is a way for Christians to make their faith public, and he felt it was important to do what Christians do,” said the church’s senior pastor, the Rev. Aaron Filippone.

He also reposted a video of Hogan’s testimony regarding the 700 Club, saying, “I’m so proud of Terry.” Excited about what God is doing in his life. I am honored to be his pastor. ”

During the interview, Hogan spoke about the challenges of working in the “crazy genre” of professional wrestling, including playing a character.

“The moment you walk out the door, the world doesn’t want Terry, it just wants Hulk,” he said.

Comparing it to the Christian life, he said: [who] They say they are Christians and know our Lord and Savior, but they actually don’t know Him. Everyone I meet is a wrestler who talks about wrestling, but there’s a big difference when they actually get in the ring. ”

Hogan also talked about his late wrestling rival “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who passed away in 2015.

“He was trying really hard…to surrender and straighten out his life,” Hogan explained.

Although they were “incapable of going against each other” during their 25 years as wrestlers, they started texting each other “every day” after their retirement.

“We basically had some conversations and…he started asking me about my spirituality,” Hogan continued. “[Piper] We didn’t really connect, but he was very interested. He did not try to surrender, but suddenly he died. ”

Two days later, Hogan revealed that he received a text voice message from Piper saying, “I just love you, brother. I’m just walking with Jesus. Walking with Jesus, brother, I love you.” Masu.”

“It’s amazing how things work,” an emotional Hogan said, adding that Piper would never have said that while he was alive.
