The Fort Lauderdale Police Department told Fox News Digital that FLPD is “not investigating Knezevic’s disappearance” because she was “reported missing abroad.” The department contacted Fox News Digital with the State Department, which did not respond to a request for comment.
Padovitz previously said David had no ties to Madrid, did not speak Spanish and had been cooperating with local investigators while in Serbia.
