Trump Says He’s ‘Good’ with Crypto

Former President Donald Trump expressed his personal support for cryptocurrencies Wednesday at a special event for Trump non-fungible token (NFT) holders at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

“I’m okay with this,” President Trump said in a widely shared clip on X. If you like cryptocurrencies in any form, cryptocurrencies come in many forms, but if you support cryptocurrencies, you might as well vote for Trump. ”

Later, he expanded on the theme of cryptography.

President Trump said US crypto companies are pulling out because of “hostility” from Democrats and Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler.

President Trump said, “The hostility towards cryptocurrencies is causing cryptocurrencies to leave the United States.” “We don’t want that, so we’re going to stop it. If we’re going to accept that, we have to let them stay here.”

Those who gathered quickly expressed a desire to fight for its widespread use.

Ryan Serkis, founder and CEO of leading cryptocurrency research firm Messari, expressed support for President Trump’s move and expressed support for the Republican nominee for the White House.

In a recent exclusive interview with Breitbart, venture capitalist Nick Carter also praised Trump and asked why people who support crypto would vote for the Democratic Party.

Decryption report Trump’s change in views on digital assets comes after analysts suggested on Tuesday that his return to the White House in November would be positive for Bitcoin.

The potential Republican nominee went after the incumbent, claiming that President Joe Biden is ignorant about cryptocurrencies.

“Biden doesn’t know,” Trump told the audience.

“[Gary] Mr. Gensler is very opposed to it, and the Democrats are very opposed to it,” Trump was quoted as saying. “But I’m okay with that.”
