Disturbing video footage shows a deranged woman hitting a man with her car, then driving up to his corpse, kissing him and stabbing him multiple times.
Authorities identified the suspect as Karon Fisher, a 20-year-old transgender woman.
Steven Anderson, 64, was on his way to pick up his mail in his Houston neighborhood on May 3 when a white car sped down the road and appeared to swerve to hit him. This is what the footage obtained by Eyewitness News shows.
The car then hit Anderson a second time, sending his body further into the road.
Immediately frantic witnesses appeared on screen, some of them pulling out cellphones, and others coming out with pillows, which they appeared to use to cover Anderson’s body. did.
Suddenly, the driver returned to the scene, flipped Anderson over, straddled him and kissed him before stabbing him nine times.
Police said Fisher, who was wearing a black bra and high-waisted black shorts, tried to get into another car as witnesses looked on.
Unable to get into her car, she walked over Anderson’s body and left the scene on foot, authorities said.
“It’s very disturbing. There are children here. They could have been playing here, and just imagine them,” one neighbor told Eyewitness News.
“In broad daylight. There were people around each time and it happened right in front of us,” another added.
Fisher was eventually arrested and charged with murder, evading arrest with a vehicle and assaulting hospital personnel, according to Harris County records.
The suspect was identified in court records as a man, but was referred to by police as a woman, Eyewitness News noted.
At the time of her arrest earlier this month, she was on community supervision for evading arrest in 2023.
Fisher was also indicted on prostitution charges in 2021, but that case was dismissed, Eyewitness News reported.
She is scheduled to appear in court again on May 24th.
