One person was killed and a suspect was arrested in a shooting at Regal Cinemas in Massillon, Ohio, on Friday night, according to the Associated Press.
Massillon police responded to the scene just before 11 p.m. and found the body of Daron Davis, 27, near the theater’s front lobby. according to To AP. Details are unclear as to whether Mr. Davis was in attendance at the movie being shown in theaters at the time. Shortly after the shooting, around 11:30 p.m., police arrested a person who is currently believed to be the suspect in the incident outside the police station. The identity of the suspect has not yet been released.

The Stark County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Davis’ body was transported to the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy early Saturday, which will help determine the exact cause of death, the Associated Press reported. The report said authorities are actively reviewing surveillance footage from the theater as part of an ongoing investigation.
