Two men have been arrested after a man was injured outside Norwich City’s stadium after a play-off match against Leeds United. Norfolk Police have appealed for witnesses after a man in his 60s reported being punched outside Carrow Road just after 2pm on Sunday.
Police said an object appeared to have been thrown at the victim, who suffered a cut to his jaw. He was treated by paramedics and did not require further treatment.
A man in his late teens was arrested on suspicion of assaulting GBH and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Center for questioning.
A man in his 50s was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker. Both men remain in custody.
Officers said they believe another man was also involved in the incident and are continuing to search for him.

“We will work closely with the police to thoroughly investigate the incident, ascertain the facts, and take appropriate action,” the club said in a statement.
Norfolk Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time with information or phone footage of the incident to contact them.
