Jason Kelce believes he could turn LeBron James into the ‘greatest redzone threat in the NFL’

The debate over whether NFL and NBA players can immediately play and succeed in their opposite sport heated up during the week, with former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce weighing in on Saturday. Ta.

ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark initially disputed NBA guard Austin Rivers’ idea that 30 professional basketball players could play in the NFL. Clark pointed out that in 2011, Draymond Green tried to play in Michigan State’s green-and-white spring football game and had trouble handling it.

However, Kelce responded to Clark’s post and said there is one person who can be turned into a “red zone threat.”

“I love this argument and passion of Ryan and as a football player my heart is screaming like hell, oh!!!” Kelce said of ‘X’, “But if I were an NFL GM, If that were an option, we would sign LeBron today and within one offseason he would be the NFL’s biggest red zone threat.”

The discussion began last week when Rivers said he could seamlessly bring 30 NBA players into the NFL.

“You can’t put 30 NFL players into the NBA,” Rivers said.

The former Duke standout responded to backlash from JJ Watt by saying he believes only some players can play in the NFL.

“@JJWatt played for 11 years [in the NBA] Brosky. I might actually play next year…that would make it 12 games,” Rivers posted.respect you [sic] A football legend held it down for his brother. My comment was not meant to be rude. It just goes to show how athletic some of his NBA players are…

“I don’t think it’s Antman. [Anthony Edwards] Could he make the transition to the NFL? Wide receiver? Prime LeBron?zion [Williamson]?Prime D Rose [Derrick Rose] or [Russell] Westbrook? Is Aaron Gordon a tight end? So, from the NFL to the NBA, give me yours…we’ll be waiting. By the way, I have never said that myself. It’s so easy to be in the shade towards me. ”

In James’ case, he played football in high school and then turned his attention solely to basketball. He was first-team All-State at Ohio State and was scouted by the University of Notre Dame.
