Glenn Hirsch was charged with murder in the Aug. 5, 2022, shooting death of Yang.
Police later found eight guns hidden in his wife’s apartment and charged her with illegal possession of weapons a month after her ex-husband committed suicide.
He left a suicide note in which his wife claimed she did not know there was a gun in the apartment.
“A total of eight illegal handguns and over 400 rounds of ammunition were found in the apartment that the defendant owned and lived alone,” Assistant District Attorney Canela Georgopoulos said in opening statements at Monday’s trial. Ta.

Glenn Hirsch was charged with killing Yang over an ongoing sexual encounter with the Great Wall restaurant on Queens Boulevard where he worked.
