Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the White House had suspended arms shipments to Israel to prevent Israel from entering Rafah.

He made the comments at a press conference on Wednesday after insisting his administration’s support for Israel is steadfast.
Many believe President Joe Biden will abandon Israel to woo voters in Dearborn, Michigan.
However, Jean-Pierre denied these rumors.
“I can tell you that we have been loudly and clearly expressing our concerns about the transportation of large-scale military operations in Rafah for weeks and even months,” she said. “This is something we’ve been talking about for a while. For a while. I mean, they’re not connected. This is not a political issue for this president. This is about the right thing to do.”
Biden has repeatedly put pressure on Israel, while also calling for the release of hostages held by Hamas.
