said the Pentecostal Father. The Feast of Louis Cona in New York is “the preeminent festival of the Holy Spirit” and is celebrated on Sunday, May 19, seven weeks after Easter.

Cona is a priest in the Diocese of Rockville Center and currently serves as associate pastor at St. Patrick’s Church in Smithtown, New York.

According to Cona, the scriptures in the Acts of the Apostles (2:1-4) tell the story of Pentecost.

Illinois pastor and author urges people caught up in today’s evils to “love America again”

“When the time of Pentecost was fulfilled, they all gathered together in one place, and suddenly there came a noise from the sky, like a strong wind, and the whole house where they were in was filled with it. And there appeared unto them these tongues: ” And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in various tongues, as the Spirit proclaimed them. ” (Acts 2:1-4)

According to the website BibleGateway, the Acts of the Apostles is traditionally attributed to St. Luke the Evangelist.

“In telling this story, Luke explains: emergence of christianity “From Judaism’s origins to its status as a religion with global stature and appeal,” the site added.

According to Pentecost, Pentecost, which is celebrated 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, is a celebration of Jesus’ “ignition of the earth” as told in Luke 12:49. It is said that this is the fulfillment of the mission.

“We see his desires fulfilled as tongues of fire descend on his disciples,” Kona said. “The tongues of fire that St. Luke speaks of in the Acts of the Apostles are that God is alive, that his Spirit is not stagnant, but dynamic, always energizing and enflaming the Church and her members. It reminds me of that.”

“Pentecost is not a feast of the Holy Spirit, but rather a feast of sending the Holy Spirit.”

While studying for ordination to the priesthood in seminary, Cona said, one of his professors often reminded him that Pentecost is not a feast of the Holy Spirit, but rather a feast of the sending of the Holy Spirit. ” he said.

This, he said, is “an important distinction that reminds us that the coming of the Holy Spirit is Christ’s greatest gift to the church, a gift that came through his incarnation, death, resurrection, and ascension.”

Cona said the Holy Spirit “gives life to the church, constantly renewing it from within and energizing all its members.”

Cona told Fox News Digital that as a parish priest, he feels the “fire” of the Holy Spirit “is alive and working in the sacraments of the Church.”

He said, “I am often amazed at the work of the Holy Spirit in the healing of the sick through prayer and anointing.”

The main priest says the Feast of the Ascension is an opportunity to think about “letting go” in order to grow in faith.

Mr. Cona continued, “I also see the fire of the Spirit alive in young people. Their thirst for truth, goodness, and true friendships, when rooted in the truths of the gospel, “It will only heal you.”

He added, “Where else could their desire for deeper meaning and purpose in life come from but from the Spirit who works in their hearts and guides them into all truth?” – John See 16:13.

“This wonderful hymn teaches us about the amazing work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts,” Kona said.

In it, “we learn that the Holy Spirit ‘melts’ our hard hearts and ‘warms the cold’ of ego, sin, and loneliness. In this way, the Holy Spirit , by overcoming isolation, unites us and unites us “in heart and spirit,” he said.

“On this Sunday of Pentecost, we will “melt” hearts hardened by sin and violence, and the Holy Spirit will be poured out anew on this world so that we, too, can experience peace, unity, and “unending joy.” I pray that.” Kona.
