Former President Trump on Saturday enraged his supporters at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Texas, calling on President Biden to take a “drug test” and labeling “extremist” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It infuriated gun enthusiasts and encouraged them to get out. Vote.

The crowd at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas roared when Trump received the NRA’s endorsement before taking the stage.

President Trump thanked “great patriots” for their support but scolded “traitors” who did not vote.

“But let me tell you one thing, and I say this as a friend, we have to get the gun owners to vote, because I don’t know what that is. Maybe it’s a form of insurrection. You are a rebellious people, aren’t you?” President Trump said. “But gun owners don’t vote. What does that mean?”

“If gun owners vote, we will overwhelm them to a level that no one has ever seen before,” he said. “So I think you’re a rebellious bunch. So let’s vote rebellious this time.”

“Radical” RFK Jr.

President Trump focused on independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told NRA supporters not to “waste their vote” and that he was part of the “radical left.”

“RFK Jr. – I call him Junior by the way – he’s a radical leftist. Don’t think about that. Don’t waste your vote,” Trump said. “We need a conservative with common sense. This man is a radical leftist who destroyed New York.”

“Actually, he’s the worst. He reminds me of this fly that’s driving me crazy here,” Trump said, swatting a fly flying around the stage. “These flies are ferocious. I hate flies!”

President Trump said RFK Jr. has “no policy.”

“But RFK Jr. calls you a terrorist group. You know, he calls you a terrorist group,” President Trump said. ”[You] I can’t vote for him. You can’t. The other day someone said, “They like his vaccine policy.” He said, “No, no, I’m going to get the vaccine.” He’s nice. He has no policy or anything. He is a radical leftist. He always was. ”

“I can’t waste a single vote,” he added. “We have to win.”

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee zeroed in on President Biden, starting with his usual attacks on Biden’s cognitive abilities, saying Biden was “as high as a kite” during his State of the Union address in March.

“Well, he gave that State of the Union address the other day. He was high as a kite,” Trump said. “So I think there should be a drug test at the debate. Yeah, I’m going to ask for a drug test.”
