Drummond said. Fox News Digital Oklahoma said it is careful to ensure its law is not similar to the law currently being challenged in Texas.

“I fully expected the Biden administration to step in and try to divert the public’s attention from that failure,” he said. “I would say to the Biden administration, bring the fight to Oklahoma. We’d be happy to take on you.”

According to the AG, the state is “genuinely overrun by Chinese and Mexican cartels, who engage in illegal activities in concert and apart from each other.”

Assistant Attorney General Brian M. Boynton of the Department of Justice’s Civil Division said: Said“Oklahoma cannot ignore the U.S. Constitution and settled Supreme Court precedent.”

“We took this action to ensure Oklahoma adheres to the Constitution and the framework adopted by Congress for immigration regulation,” Boynton added.

Early this month, The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the state of Iowa. to prevent State Senate File 2340 From entry into force. The law allows local law enforcement authorities to arrest illegal immigrants who have previously been deported, barred from entering the country, or have been ordered removed.
