ICE Arrests Criminal Illegal Aliens
The Department of Homeland Security recently announced the apprehension of several criminal illegal aliens by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This information came to light through a press release accessed by Blaze News.
Among those detained were sex offenders and child molesters, along with others guilty of violent crimes.
“Every day, our police officers put their lives on the line to remove criminal illegal aliens from America’s neighborhoods,” stated Lauren Biss, the Acting Assistant Secretary of DHS.
Biss continued to express support for ICE personnel, adding, “Our pride and support for the brave men and women who keep America safe will remain steadfast during Police Week and every day.”
One notable arrest was that of Henry Paul Noriega Perez, an illegal alien from Guatemala. He had previously been convicted of aggravated sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of a minor in Illinois.
Additionally, Hueriton Aparecido de Bolva, an illegal alien from Brazil, was taken into custody. He had a conviction in Bridgeport, Connecticut, for first-degree sexual assault of a minor.
Raul Sanchez Garduno, an illegal alien from Mexico, was also arrested. His past criminal record includes aggravated sexual assault and forcible sodomy in Virginia.
Another individual captured was Jason Daniel Mendoza-Canales from Honduras, who was convicted of sexual assault by restraint in California.
Juan Jose Godoy Nuñez, also from Honduras, was arrested for assault and robbery in Tennessee.
The DHS released a statement honoring law enforcement officers for their commitment to safeguarding American communities from dangerous criminals. Biss mentioned that Secretary Markwayne Mullin was actively engaged with ICE officers during their operations in Virginia.
In a recent announcement, ICE noted that they apprehended an illegal alien who had been deported multiple times and had a history of drug possession and drunk driving offenses. This prompted criticism of Democratic policies in Virginia, which some claim create a welcoming environment for criminal elements.
