President Biden visited his daughter-in-law’s home on Sunday evening, just days before the ninth anniversary of the death of his son and husband, Beau Biden.
The president’s brief visit to Hallie Biden’s home came ahead of her scheduled testimony next month at Hunter Biden’s gun crimes trial, where the eldest son is accused of making false statements on federal paperwork when purchasing a firearm in 2018.
A source familiar with the police report from Oct. 23, 2018, told Fox News that it shows Hallie, who was dating Hunter Biden at the time, threw a gun belonging to Hunter Biden in a trash can behind a market near the school.
She is likely to be called to testify at the upcoming trial.

The Hunter Biden case court Final hearing Before jury selection begins on June 3, Biden plans to use parts of his books and laptop, including photos, to try to convince jurors that his eldest son is guilty of lying on federal paperwork after buying a handgun in 2018 while using drugs, Fox News previously reported. Biden has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Judge Mary Ellen Noreika said special prosecutor David Weiss must prove Hunter Biden was addicted to drugs, but not necessarily using drugs on the day he bought the gun.

Hunter Biden’s lawyers acknowledged that some of the evidence prosecutors want to introduce may be relevant to the case, including drug buys, ATM withdrawals and the purchase of a revolver, but said other details, such as references to money allegedly spent on “adult entertainment, online chat rooms and escort services,” are not relevant to the charges.
