Hollywood star Robert De Niro has received the worst audience ratings of his career so far. Dirty Grandpaeven worse Rocky and Bullwinkle — for a confusing, quickly-memed press conference held Tuesday outside the New York courthouse where former President Donald Trump’s trial is taking place.
How low will the Tomatometer go?
“The worst performance of his career,” one viewer wrote.
“I’ll never spend my money on anything he’s on again,” another replied.
“He’s destroying his own achievements as an actor,” another wrote.
Some fans have had enough: “I’m still a huge De Niro fan but his political rants are irrelevant at this point,” wrote another.
As reported by Breitbart News, Robert De Niro insulted tens of millions of Americans during the surreal press conference, calling Trump supporters “clowns” and “gangsters.” He claimed that if Trump is elected, he would “never” leave office and make himself a “dictator for life.”
The actor also said that Trump “is not a good fit for my city.”

During his speech, De Niro was yelled at by onlookers, some of whom yelled “fuck you” and honked their horns. After his speech, De Niro became angry and yelled back, “fuck you,” adding, “The Democrats are trying to be gentlemen in this world. You’re a gangster, you’re a gangster!”
De Niro also used the event to promote the TriBeCa Film Festival, which kicks off next week.
Online reviews of Tuesday’s press conference suggest new Razzie nominations are on the way.
