First Lady Jill Biden said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that American voters will choose “good” President Joe Biden over “evil” former President Donald Trump.
“We’re in a better place now. What you say is true. We’ve got to get that message out. Every vote counts. This election matters, so we’ll be out there everywhere. We’ll meet people where they are. We’ll meet them in person. We’ll meet them on TV. We’ll meet them on social media. We’re not taking anything for granted, because Joe has done great things for this country. We’ve got to get that message out,” Biden said.
She continued, “This election is not about age. Donald Trump is 78, Joe is 81. They’re basically the same age. This is about character. This election is about character. So you have two choices: My husband, Joe, who you all know as loyal, strong, solid, a leader, smart, energetic. Or chaos.”
Biden added, “The polls will change, and I’m confident about that, because I believe that as time goes on, as people start to focus a little more on what the issues are, as they start to become more educated about the issues and the differences between these two men, the American people will choose good over evil.”
